Earlier this spring, ICO₂NIC was presented at the 34th edition of EUBCE – European Biomass Conference & Exhibition in The Hague, the Netherlands, by SINTEF researcher Matteo Gilardi.
As Europe’s leading event connecting science, industry, and policy to advance the bioeconomy, EUBCE brought together around 1,500 experts from more than 60 countries to discuss the latest developments in biomass, bioenergy, and circular bioeconomy solutions.
During the conference, Matteo showcased an ICO₂NIC poster presenting the project’s objectives and innovative industrial value chains for CO₂ utilisation. The poster also highlighted the development of the project’s Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and preliminary estimates of key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, selectivity, and energy demand.
By sharing its latest developments at EUBCE, ICO₂NIC contributed to the broader exchange of knowledge and experiences, driving innovation in carbon circularity and industrial decarbonisation.
