On 9–10 June, the ICO₂NIC consortium gathered in Seville, Spain, for our Month 18 meeting, hosted by our partner IDENER.AI.
Over two productive days, partners reviewed progress across the entire ICO₂NIC value chain, from CO₂ capture and purification to electrochemical conversion, downstream applications, process modelling, sustainability, exploitation, and dissemination activities. The meeting also included the General Assembly, providing an opportunity to align on upcoming milestones and the next phase of the project.
Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting was a valuable occasion to strengthen collaboration, exchange perspectives, and connect the different pieces of the ICO₂NIC innovation pathway.
A special thank you to IDENER for bringing partners together, their warm hospitality and for organising a memorable cultural visit to the Alcázar of Seville. These moments are an important part of building the strong collaborative spirit that drives the project forward.
Thank you to all partners for the engaging discussions and continued commitment to advancing innovative CO₂ utilisation technologies!
