On 16-17 September, the ICO₂NIC consortium came together in London for our Month-6 General Assembly — two days of progress, collaboration, and knowledge exchange!
Day one: opening warm words from our coordinator SINTEF and our host Cool Planet Technologies (thank you for welcoming us!), then technical presentations explored ICO₂NIC specifications, CO₂ capture and purification solutions, electrochemical conversion to formic acid, and downstream applications. The day closed with fruitful discussions and a shared dinner, strengthening bonds across the consortium.
Day two: A focus on technology integration, process design and modelling, and horizontal aspects such as sustainability, exploitation, and dissemination. We wrapped up with an open discussion on next steps, ensuring alignment and a clear path forward for the months ahead.
A big thank you again to Cool Planet Technologies and to all partners for your dedication and spirit of collaboration. Together, we are moving ICO₂NIC closer to its mission of advancing sustainable CO₂ conversion technologies!
